Improved Memory
Posted: April 13, 2008I was away on business trip for 5 days. Sammi was under tha care of her dad and her grandfather. This afternoon during lunch, grandfather praised Sammi for a good memory.
Everyday, grandfather will bring Sammi to school by car. Our helper usually comes along as she needs to be there to drop her off at the school gate and brings her to classroom doorstep. Grandfather loves his car and keep it very tidy and clean.
The day before, it had rained. The grass was wet in the morning. Grandfather has instructed sammi not to walk on the grass but walk on the pavement instead. She has remembered his instruction. The next day, our helper, Aunty Mun walked on the grass. Sammi saw it and told her, “ Aunty Mun. Do not walk on the grass as it is wet, you will bring the wet soil into the car.”
Grandfather was impressed. It has been nearly 24 hours since he has given Sammi the instructions and she has remembered well and even applied it daily especially when going into grandfather’s car.
