Is this made of China’s Milk ?
Posted: November 11, 2008Since the tinted milk scared in China and some of the biscuits products from Malaysia and Thailand, my daughter has been very careful when she is given any sweets or milk products from us. She will always ask, ” Is this Made in China ? ”
Well, what are the food or textiles we wear not made from China. Nothing much. Even finished products are not, its components are.
Her school has started asking parents tried not to give or bring any milk based foodstuff to the school for children’s birthday celebration.
Thus, instead of a big milk based chocolate cake, she will get a agar agar ( jelly based cake) birthday cake. It took me some while before I finally find that very one contact in Singapore who made it.
She choose a Hello Kitty one for the home birthday celebration and a Happy Birthday pan for her school birthday celebration. We are looking forward to this new way of celebrating birthday with agar agar.
It is from a couple called Mr and Mrs James Chan. They made lovely big agar agar or jelly cake.
