Well, some may asked me why do I still place my daughter in the Shichida class even now that she is in primary one. My answer is simple. I trust and believe in the programme. I have seen how my daughter started and grow with the programme.  This is a programme that is not like normal academic class which the Singapore parents concerned about. It is not about doing and doing tonnes of worksheet well beyond your age or your abilities. It is a programme that will help to develop the right and left brains better. I believed such development is needed in earlier age so that it can help the child to be a better person - besides academic , better in focus and concentration, better in memory, better in sensitivity to the environment. It will therefore produce better results.  Example:  Better focus and concentration promote learning fast, better in memory so that they do not have to force themselves to remember for thr sake of examinations. Sensitive to environment helps them to detect and surroundings and also better EQ ( especially in understanding others as well as in a new enviornment).

What is Shichida Method ?

It emphasizes on drawing out the proven Shichida abilities determined by Professor Shichida’s exclusive research and endorsed by the World Science Council and proven by many children in Japan, Malaysia, Singapore . These abilities are drawn out by transformin brian output  using Shichida researched materials and procedures. Development of these abilities help create a harmonious human character in a child, protrayed as a person who has a good balance of academic and non academic qualities in learning, which is very important in being a balanced human being. Good parent-child bonding enriches the confidence level of a child but is only one of the key conditions for good performance.

Above all, scientists said that average person used less than 10 % of the brain. Even the most brilliant one has used less than 20 % of the brain. There is a deep and serious research by scientist on how brain function and impact each motor and other parts of the body. In my view, when God created us, He created us in his Image. His brain is 100 % . If we only use 10-20 % that is because we have lived in the fallen world after Adam sinned. But I also think before Adam sin, his brain is function as close as 100 % or else how can he remembered all the animals he has named. So it is God’s will to get us to use our brain to its fullest for his Glory. So in order to get our brain to the fullest, I believer in praying to God, mediating on God’s word as well as training our brain for Him.
